How do I contact Durham Tech? |
The Admissions Department at Durham Tech assists students with the process of applying
to a curriculum program. Admissions officers answer questions about requirements for
admission, provide information about placement testing opportunities, award transfer
credit, and keep students informed about items required for full acceptance into programs.

Durham Tech's Advising Center offers assistance in locating and securing an
academic advisor, coordinates academic advising during scheduled registration
periods, conducts new student advising following the college placement test, assists
students with generating a PIN number for telephone registration, and is open at posted
daily hours during with students can drop in for advising or obtain an advising referral.

The Counseling and Student
Development Department offers academic and brief personal counseling to students in need.
Confidential help with conflict resolution, personal issues, academic problems,
study skills, career decisions, and other college life issues is available.

Disability accommodations and services are available to qualified students with disabilities.
Students needing accommodations due to any physical, psychological, or learning disability
should contact the Disability Services Coordiantor at least two weeks prior to the need for
accommodations. Asessment documentation of the disability is required to establish an
accommodation plan.

The Financial Aid Department assists students with applying for federal financial aid
including the Pell Grant and other need-based programs. Information about Durham Tech
scholarships is also available.

The Registraiton Department provides information about registration dates,
telephone registration, registration changes, withdrawal procedures, and change
of address requests.

The Campus Learning Center offers free tutoring in Accounting,
Math, Reading, Science, Spanish, and Writing.
